Hey guys, downloaded Boogie off iTunes because apparently you guys are "hip" according to the jack ass at the local record store who apparently reserved my copy but actually didnt in fact do that at all. I hate iTunes and their horse shit bit rates. Anyhow, I would've sacrificed my left nut to see you guys live and by Boogie at the merch table. BUT the nearest you came was Atlanta. I have the set on tape. The wireless network and I fought it out trying to get this out, but in the end the encoder dropped multiple times. I'll do a better encode of it at some point. My laptop died the day after the show so there isn't anything I can do at the moment. Long story short, it'll be up on the site in a couple of weeks.

Well, Pitchfork can go fork themselves on dissing my favorite track on this boogie. Politics is amazing. Maybe they skipped to the next track after the first 30 seconds? The drums are incredible then the wall of guitar is just perfect. There are only two things wrong with this album: 1) Que Sera Sera is too short. Aren't there any other clichés in other languages to fill up a second verse? 2) Gasp! Does thing have a parental warning sticker on it?? My sensitive ears have been violated by the expletive in Knives. Ouch! My kids love your music, but this track will be MIA in the car. ...and you used to be family friendly wholesome entertainment, we had planned on having you play at little timmy's birth-o-miztva. I guess that is out. You are at least one order of magnitude better than TAsC. They should be wearing your T-shirts. Otherwise, keep rockin' the house.

Picture this: 2 dudes who work for the financial aid office of the university of florida. they're also in a band, which is about to break up after 14 years together. as they enjoyed their leftovers during their lunch hour, one of these geniuses decided to check in on the TLAT website, in case there were some S.E. tour dates. Holy shit! there are videos! live videos! Woo Hoo! so they cranked up their tiny state-issue speakers, and in between swallowing bites of lentils and tofurkey, they muttered things like, "that drummer is an asshole. did you see that fill?" and, "who's playing the 'woo ooohh' sound? The bass player? Awesome." and, "every one of those guys is playing keyboards at some point. wow." and "is eric using an octave pedal? how is he doing that?". Anyway, the answer to the question, is anybody still there, is emphatically, fuck yeah. and we're watching and waiting carefully, drinking in every second, every note, and every song, because it makes everything better. come to gainesville, FL, and I'll tell you personally.
